MIXCON x BVD 2025 DJ & Producer Conference a Complete Success

What is possible when working together was demonstrated last week during Prolight + Sound by the organizers of MIXCON, the BVD e.V., and Messe Frankfurt. The team quickly came together to bring the DJ & Producer Conference to Frankfurt.

Under the name MIXCON x BVD e.V. present DJ & Producer Conference, 15 panel discussions and masterclassestook place from April 8 to 11 on the first floor of the Portalhaus at Messe Frankfurt, with over 50 experts from 7 nations in attendance.

“International exchange is extremely important for the industry,”
says co-organizer Bernd Closmann.
His partner Jens Witzig adds:
“When you see groups coming together after each talk to continue the discussion off-stage, you realize the passion behind it.”

And how could it be otherwise, with industry heavyweights like Stefan Dabruck (founder of SDM), Stuart Knight(founder of Toolroom Records), Jørn Brands (CEO of Adapt Musikmanagement), Stefan Goebel (co-founder of WEFOR & manager of MEDUN), Dominik Marx (CEO of Tante Mia Tanzt), and artists like Le Shuuk, Lunax, Jaxomy, and Mark Dekoda on the panels?

  as well as more complex issues like:

Despite having only 8 weeks to prepare and welcoming a slightly smaller crowd compared to 2020, the organizers of MIXCON x BVD 2025 reported a strong and successful outcome.

The event not only reestablished MIXCON’s core themes but also laid the foundation for a revitalized platform—one designed to foster networking opportunities and act as a springboard for emerging talent in the electronic and dance music scene.

Still, all key themes from previous MIXCON events were successfully revived and implemented in Frankfurt. A new foundation has been laid for the music industry — perfect for networking and serving as a career booster for emerging talent.

Everyone involved agrees that the format will continue to grow positively. A significantly larger event is planned for 2026. So if you’re into electronic and dance music, mark your calendar:
