Charlotte de Witte
One-Off Show This September

Charlotte de Witte
Charlotte de Witte’s 2025 Ibiza appearance is poised to be a defining moment. On 22 September, techno's leading voice will deliver her only Ibiza show of the summer—a finely tuned, high-stakes journey into her dark, uncompromising sonic world, perfectly placed at [UNVRS].
Techno in Charlotte’s DNA
A native of Ghent (born 21 July 1992), de Witte began DJing in 2010 under the alias Raving George, initially to sidestep gender stereotypes.Within a few years, she dropped the alias and fully embraced a harder, acid‑tinged techno sound—from her acclaimed Weltschmerz EP (2015) to later releases on labels like Turbo and Bad Life.
She founded the KNTXT label in 2019, now a pivotal platform for purist techno, and recently launched Époque to spotlight remix culture in Belgium. Her production style—which blends acid-laced loops, surgical percussion and gritty minimalism—has become her trademark.
Techno’s Unquestioned Queen
De Witte has been consistently recognized for her dominance in techno. She won “Best Techno Artist” at the DJ Awards (2019), and has topped DJ Mag’s Techno Top 100 since 2022. With powerful festival sets—closing Tomorrowland mainstage in 2022 and Movement Detroit previously—she has cemented her place at the top.

Debut LP & Recent Singles
2025 marks a bold new chapter: on 7 November, de Witte will release her debut self-titled album, her first full-length after over 15 years and more than 20 EPs. Leading singles like "The Realm" (April) and "No Division" (May), the latter featuring XSALT, have already hit hard—haunted by hypnotic acid lines and eerie vocal loops meant for live staging.
Of “The Realm,” de Witte has said: “It marks the beginning of a whole new chapter… Techno … is about connection, transcendence, and exploration… stepping into something bigger than yourself”
And on “No Division”: “It’s a reminder of what’s possible when we lose ourselves in the music and come together on the same frequency. It reminds us that we are one.”
These aren’t just tracks—they’re blueprints for live ritual.
One Night on Ibiza: Beyond Glamour
For de Witte, Ibiza isn’t about glamour—it’s about context. She says of the event:
“Intense, raw, and all about the music. Expect a night driven by pure techno. No compromises… losing yourself in the sound and sharing something real.”
This show isn’t about visuals or collaborations—it’s your front-row ticket to experience techno distilled.
De Witte’s Ibiza show isn't merely another island booking—it’s an immersive waypoint en route to her debut LP. Expect deep, acidic resonance, spoken‑word intensity, and immersive momentum—an intimate plunge into her sonic philosophy before the album era breaks fully.
For techno purists and deep-floor diggers, September 22 is unmissable.
