DJ Awards 2024

A Night of Celebration and Recognition

The DJ Awards made a sensational return to Ibiza for its 23rd ceremony on October 2nd, celebrating the best in dance music. Established in 1998 by José Pascual and Lenny Krarup.

With industry insiders, music lovers, and public figures all in attendance, the atmosphere at club Chinois Ibiza was electric. Hosted by BBC 1 tastemaker Jaguar and Katie Knight, the ceremony honored the extraordinary talents that shaped the vibrant music scene over the past year.

The awards, which had not taken place for four years, showcased a diverse range of winners across multiple categories, including Sven Vath for Best Techno DJ, Fisher for Best International DJ, and Sam Divine for Best House DJ. Acceptance speeches resonated with gratitude and excitement, highlighting the deep connections within the dance music community.

Celebrating Industry Legends

In addition to genre awards, several special Industry Awards were presented, honoring icons and influential figures in the scene. Notable recipients included:

  • Best Ibiza Party : David Guetta's F*** Me I'm Famous at Ushuaia and Future Rave at Hi Ibiza
  • Lifetime Achievement Award: Javier Anadon
  • Ibiza Track of the Summer: Adam Port, Stryv - Move feat. Malachiii
  • What's Hot Global: Keinemusik
  • Global Festival: Defected Croatia
  • Play It Back Award: Michael Bibi's One Life Campaign
  • Eye On… USA: Gospel New York

An Epic Afterparty

After the main ceremony, the celebration continued at Club Chinois Ibiza, with a lively afterparty featuring electrifying sets from renowned DJs including Luciano, Cristoph, Mathew Jonson, Ben Sterling, and Manu Gonzalez. The excitement and energy of the night reflected the triumphant return of the DJ Awards, reminding attendees of the passion that fuels the dance music community.

With fresh ownership and exciting plans for the future, the DJ Awards promise to return bigger and better in the coming year!
