IMS Ibiza 2025: Closing Day Highlights
The 16th edition of IMS Ibiza, presented with AlphaTheta, wraps up today after a packed week of music, panels, and debate. The closing event, IMS Dalt Vila, promises to end the summit on a high note with performances from Paco Osuna, HUGEL b2b Major League DJz, Korolova, Pete Tong b2b2b Deer Jade, TSHA b2b Bradley Zero, Girls Don’t Sync, and Luxi Vilar atop the UNESCO World Heritage site in Ibiza Town.
Tickets for delegates have sold out, but limited general admission remains. IMS Dalt Vila marks not just the end of the summit but also the unofficial start of the Ibiza season. As Pete Tong put it earlier this week, “There’s nowhere else in the world quite like it.”
Before the final night kicks off, IMS Ibiza’s daytime program offers a full schedule.
On the Summit Indoor Stage, the focus is on four decades of Jungle and Drum 'n' Bass. At 11:00, "Too Many Man, Too Many Man" tackles gender parity in the genre with MC Chickaboo, Amy Jayne (Labelworx), Nicola Whisky Kicks (AEI), and Sarah Cole, moderated by Julia Toppin.
At 12:00, Bailey, Charlie Tee, and Krust discuss the cultural significance and evolution of the scene in "MCs To The OGs To The New Breed." Immediately after, at 12:30, SHERELLE and DJ Flight share an "Intergenerational Exchange," reflecting on their experiences in high-tempo music scenes.
At 14:30, Girls Don’t Sync hosts a session on building community and uplifting underrepresented voices, followed by "Breaking Barriers: Dispelling Elitism in Dance Music," where Bradley Zero, Dare Balogun, Kikelomo, Nathan Jordan, and Shamiso discuss restructuring access and opportunity. Grace Ladoja MBE moderates.
“This is the kind of session that sends you home ready to make change,” said one delegate after a similar panel earlier this week.
On the Outdoor Stage, Pete Tong leads a discussion on "The Future of Dance & Electronic Labels in 2025," addressing the shift from DIY to broader distribution models. At 13:00, HUGEL shares insights on the rise of his label, Make The Girls Dance.
The Art of Areté series continues with workshops on finding flowstate, breathwork, and a session at 15:00 exploring "Psychedelics, Rave Culture and Microdosing." Earlier in the day, a panel titled "Never Too Late: Reinvention in the Music Business" discusses career reinvention, with Pete Tong, Alex Tripi, Danny Whittle, and Deer Jade, moderated by Carolina Tong.
Tonight’s official after-party happens at Club Chinois with Paco Osuna, Melanie Ribbe, Manu Gonzalez, and Cristina Lazic. Akasha hosts a Four Decades of Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass celebration, while Eden kicks off its season with DJ EZ, Josh Butler, Sam Divine, and Simon Dunmore.
The Pete Tong DJ Academy Awards also take place today, recognizing emerging DJ talent from around the world.
Tonight’s official after-parties happen at Club Chinois, Akasha, and Eden. Delegates also take home memorabilia supplied by Plain Supply.
IMS Ibiza 2025 closes today — but for many, it’s just the start of the season.
